For concrete structure plants

Reinforced concrete is one of the most widespread construction materials in Russia. Strong, durable, rather cheap, enabling to erect most complicated structures, reinforced concrete appears to be simply irreplaceable in some fields.

However, technologies are forging ahead. Reinforced concrete is an excellent material, but it is possible to make it even better, having excluded its disadvantages arising from the use of steel reinforcements. By replacing metal reinforcements with fiberglass ones, one can considerably lower the weight of the structure, which opens new construction opportunities. Besides, composite reinforcements solve another problem –  the problem of high thermal conductivity. Due to the use of fiberglass reinforced structures excellent heat insulation of buildings can be achieved.

It also stands to mention about a convincing advantage of composite reinforcements produced by our plant. This is their concrete adherence level. While other manufacturers try to achieve high adhesion by using periodic profile consisting of separate roving fibers, we do it by simple sputtering of quartz sand at the stage of product hardening in a furnace.

Another fiberglass reinforcement advantage is a high degree of corrosion resistance. It perfectly resists the  alkaline medium of concrete and, as opposed to metal reinforcements, shows no rust signs in humid conditions.
