Last week we took part in Open Innovations International Economic Forum.
Mordovian leader Vladimir Volkov and head of ROSNANO Anatoly Chubais got to know our products. In general, the event was very interesting; a great many of people from about 20 countries came to have a look at Russian scientific and industrial novelties. We got a huge number of contacts in scientific and business circles, made an arrangement concerning construction of several joint production facilities… A widest conference named “Composites Without Borders” lasted all day long. It’s really great towiden the idea of the global and Russian composite market… It turns out there is a US company operating in 40 countries and having $70 bln/year COMPOSITE sales turnover… It’s DOW Aksa.
I managed to talk to its President, Mr. Douglas Parks. They’ve been investigating our market for several years, found it promising, and this year they will be represented in Russia. Douglas Parks displays interest in the achievements of Russian companies in the field of basalt-plastic and fiberglass reinforcements.
